Live streaming has become a big business over the past few years, and it's only getting bigger as streaming apps like Facebook Live and Twitter's Periscope continue to grow in popularity.

YouTube Live has been around for years, but it's only recently that Google has started focusing on making the service more competitive with other live platforms. One of its biggest features is the ability to schedule your broadcast ahead of time so that people know when they can tune in.

You can also stream on demand, which allows you to record and upload videos whenever you want. This feature is great if you want to share something that happened off-the-cuff, like a funny moment or behind-the-scenes footage from an event.
